The Battle

In this day and age what does it take to be “healthy”? It starts with a battle against our minds. This battle is not as easy as I am making it sound but certainly attainable. A simple/healthy diet is the a great way to start your path towards your optimal health.
Eating pattern’s must be broken and re-learned. Years and years of programming, marketing, advertisements and family traditions have steered us away from a basic simple diet. Our primary need for consuming food is for the nutritional benefits not taste. Over the years that has mutated and we live in a society of convenience and processed foods. Yes, the processing of foods definitely makes the food taste better but what does it do to the nutritional value? This is the question, this is the battle. We all have the ability to overcome this battle and achieve a simpler healthy diet. Ask yourself why you are eating? and for what purpose?
